ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Alternative dispute resolution is an option available to all consumers, allowing them to seek assistance from official bodies to resolve or guide them through conflicts. The **Online Dispute Resolution** website is an official portal managed by the European Commission, designed to help consumers and businesses resolve their disputes outside of court: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.chooseLanguage
Customers classified as consumers under Law 144/2015, who have entered into sales and/or service contracts, have the right to seek support from official bodies to resolve conflicts related to these contracts, without affecting their right to pursue legal action through the courts. The updated list of Alternative Dispute Resolution entities, available under Article 17 of Law No. 144/2015, of September 8, can be found on the Consumer Portal, accessible via the website www.consumidor.pt. For more information, you may also consult Law 144/2015. We also inform you that, for resolving disputes arising from online purchases, you can use the “ODR Platform - Online Dispute Resolution/RLL” system, created by the EU.
In any case, you may contact one of the centers listed below.
